INTRODUCTION
BN College of Nursing is an autonomous Institution established by BN Foundation Society, Aizawl Mizoram on 1st December 2020.
The institute encompasses to develop a center of excellence in the field of nursing education, research and patient care so as to impart quality education leading to Bachelor Degree in Nursing for the internationally accredited Nursing Professionals.
PHILOSOPHY OF THE COLLEGE
The institution believes that the undergraduate nursing program will equip graduates to cede quality nursing care that is scientifically sound and evidenced based in the health care practice at the institutional and community level.
The institution believes in training the graduates in a setting of innovative and pioneering work in the field of nursing practice, education and research to bring about their all round development as an individual that complements the changing needs of the profession, the community and the country at large.
AIMS & OBJECTIVES
The undergraduate nursing program aims to:

Prepare nurses to provide comprehensive nursing care and function as an efficient member of the healthcare team making a maximum contribution to the society at every level of the health care settings while abiding to the code of ethics and professional conduct at all times.

Promote and uplift the profession of nursing as a whole by preparing nurses to keep pace with latest professional and technological developments, conduct research in the areas of nursing practice that will contributes nursing care in the prevention of disease, protection of health and rehabilitation of the sick.

Prepare nurses to assume role of practitioner, teacher, supervisor and manager in clinical or public health settings.

Provide proficiency in the skills and techniques of nursing based on scientific principle and concepts of nursing by utilizing critical analysis, judgement and decision making abilities

Participate as member of the healthcare team in delivery of curative, prevention, promotion and rehabilitative health care services.

ADMISSION CRITERIA

Should have passed 10+2 Examination with Science: Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) and English Core/ English Elective from recognized board under MBSE/AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent board.

Should secure an aggregate of 45% or more marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) and English (40% for Scheduled Tribe).

Candidate shall attain the age of 17-35 years as on 31st December 2026.

Candidates found guilty of misconduct or convicted of any offence shall not be eligible for admission.

Candidate should be medically and psychologically fit.
